Work In Progress Theatre

ABOUT US

Work in Progress Theatre was founded: To create, develop, explore, workshop and produce New Canadian Theatre in the Niagara Region.

Work in Progress Theatre was founded in February of 2007 when Tina Yeung-Moore applied to various Fringe Festivals with her first play Mary Go Round.

Mary Go Round played at the London and Hamilton Fringe Festivals in 2007 with six performances at each festival.

Since then we have hosted an open acting group called “The Actor’s Lab,” Improv sessions, and various other workshops such as on writing and directing.

The Actor’s Lab runs weekly downstairs at Strega Café, 19 King Street, in downtown St. Catharines.  For a complete schedule for the Fall/Winter 2010 session download our brochure or click the “Actor’s Lab” tab.

We also host workshops/lectures by professionals in the industry on such topics as auditioning, directing, writing and are open to suggestions for new workshops.  Costs vary.
